Creating a model aircraft flying site has resulted in a great recreational and educational activity.  Both adults and kids enjoy being outside flying models aircraft. The photo shows the pilots working with the community’s youth during “Scout Day.”  This is just one of many groups that can be part of the flying site operation.  With assistance from local modeler’s, flying events and educational activities can be almost limitless! AMA can connect you with local modelers who want to fly at this new site and help newcomers to learn to fly.
